RANGER and GENERAL
Polaris RANGER and GENERAL: utility side-by-sides for work and recreation
The Polaris RANGER is the side-by-side we stock in the greatest depth. Across the Wiregrass it handles farm work, hauls feed and fence posts, carries hunters and gear to the stand or the food plot, and serves as the weekend ride. The RANGER family we carry runs from the RANGER 500 and RANGER SP 570 through the RANGER 1000 and RANGER XP 1000, with two-row CREW versions of most models; the inventory list above shows what is in stock today. Every RANGER has a dump box, all-wheel drive, and a hitch receiver. The differences are power, ride quality, cab, and seating.
What to compare when choosing a Polaris RANGER:
- Engine size. The 500 and SP 570 suit smaller acreage. The 1000 and XP 1000 tow heavier loads and ride higher.
- Seating. A single-row RANGER is more maneuverable in the woods. A CREW seats the whole family.
- Cab. Open-cab Premium trims suit most owners. CAB and NorthStar trims add a fully enclosed cab, and NorthStar adds factory climate control for Alabama summers.
The Polaris GENERAL XP 1000 sits between RANGER and RZR: it keeps a 600 pound dump box and handles like a sport machine, for the owner who works all week and rides trails on the weekend.
RZR
Polaris RZR: sport side-by-sides built for the trail
If your Polaris side-by-side will spend its time on trails, sand, and mud rather than hauling, the RZR is the one to consider. It trades the dump box for long-travel suspension, a low seating position, and a chassis built for speed and control. Riders from Dothan, Enterprise, and Panama City choose RZR for off-road parks, creek-bottom riding, and hunting camps.
The RZR models we carry are the RZR Trail, RZR XP 1000, RZR XP 4 1000, and RZR Pro XP:
- RZR Trail is 50 inches wide, so it fits narrow wooded trails and a standard trailer. It is the most approachable RZR for a first-time sport rider.
- RZR XP 1000 is the wide, two-seat performance machine the RZR name is known for. The XP 4 1000 adds a second row for four riders.
- RZR Pro XP steps up suspension and chassis for riders who want more capability in rough terrain.
Consider the trail widths where you ride, how many riders come along, and how you will tow it before choosing a width and seat count. Then schedule a test ride.
Sportsman
Polaris Sportsman: utility ATVs for the farm, the woods, and the trail
The Polaris Sportsman is the all-purpose ATV of this region: spraying fence rows, checking cattle, pulling a food-plot disc, or dragging a deer out of the bottom. It is a single-rider machine with front and rear racks, on-demand all-wheel drive, and independent rear suspension that absorbs ruts and washouts.
The Sportsman line we carry runs from the 450 H.O. and 500 through the 570 and 570 Trail, the 600, and the 850 and 850 Trail. Choosing between them comes down to three questions:
- How much do you tow and carry? The 450 H.O. and 500 are sized for lighter duty. The 570 and 600 fit most farms and hunting leases. The 850 is built for heavier loads and long days.
- Do you want power steering? Electronic power steering, standard on EPS and Trail models, reduces effort in slow, technical riding and on rough ground.
- Work or trail? Trail versions are set up for riding. For a work tool first, the standard 570 is the benchmark.
Sportsman is also the easiest Polaris to trailer and store, a consideration when it lives at a hunting camp.
Outlaw
Polaris Outlaw 70 EFI: a first ATV for young riders
The Polaris Outlaw 70 EFI is where the next generation of riders starts. It is a compact, automatic youth ATV with electronic fuel injection for reliable starting without a carburetor. Polaris builds it for riders ages 6 and up with adult supervision.
What parents ask about most:
- Speed control. An adjustable speed limiter sets the top speed to the rider's skill and can be raised as they progress.
- Safety equipment. It includes a safety tether, a high-visibility flag, and free online rider training. Our parts counter sizes helmets and riding gear.
- Growth. A 70 cc machine covers the beginner years. When your rider outgrows it, we accept it in trade toward a larger Polaris.

Do you offer financing and take trade-ins on Polaris purchases?
Yes to both. Financing is available, and you can apply in the store or through our website. We accept trade-ins on ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and other powersports equipment. Bring the unit, the title, and any loan information, and we will appraise it while you shop.
