Clyde Townsend, an enduro racer with a shelf of trophies, opened Dothan Powersports in 1950. Three generations later the same family runs it, from a one-room store to the campus on Ross Clark Circle. That is older than McDonald's, NASA, Disneyland, and the Super Bowl, and older than most of the brands on our floor.
