Dothan Powersports operates an internal SMS messaging program for employees. This page provides information about our program and the consent process for enrollment.
Program Overview
Our employee SMS program is used exclusively for work-related communications, including:
- One-Time Passwords (OTPs): Security codes for accessing company web services and internal systems.
- Deal Notifications: Alerts and reminders related to customer deals and job responsibilities.
Consent Process
Enrollment in the SMS messaging program is voluntary. During new hire onboarding, employees are presented with an SMS Authorization Form. Employees who wish to participate sign the form, which is then scanned and retained in their personnel file. Employees may decline to participate without any negative consequences to their employment.

SMS MESSAGING AUTHORIZATION FORM
Program Description: Dothan Powersports operates an employee SMS messaging program for internal business communications. By signing this form, you authorize Dothan Powersports to send you text messages related to your employment, including one-time passwords (OTPs) for secure system access and deal notification messages related to your job duties.
Message Frequency: You may receive up to 15 messages per week, depending on your role and system usage.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Dothan Powersports does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier may apply standard messaging fees based on your plan.
Opt-Out: Your participation is voluntary. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by emailing admin@dothanpowersports.com. To rejoin, reply START or contact the same email address.
