Bred For The Trail
Dominate Adventure with more friends and family with 4-passenger seating on the TERYX® KRX4™ 1000. With an enlarged chassis, no sacrifices were made to accommodate additional passengers. Advanced suspension technology combined with beefy wheels and tires deliver the ultimate riding experience. The TERYX KRX4 1000 reinforces and elevates the reputation of purpose-built Kawasaki sport side x sides. Now, a 64-in wide side x side, the TERYX® KRX4™ 1000 TR, is purpose-built to dominate tight, technical terrain with comfort and precision. It brings the proven terrain-taming combination of power, performance, and capability into a more agile, trail-focused package, giving you the confidence to take on narrower trail conditions.
DURABLE AND CAPABLETake on the great outdoors with the ability to conquer tough terrain while offering superb control and comfort. Soak up technical obstacles with confidence so you can focus on the fun ahead.
POWERFUL AND WELL-BALANCED ENGINEA compact 999cc parallel-twin engine delivers high power and high torque. Well-balanced performance is ideal for handling a wide range of situations at both high and low speeds, from trail running to technical navigation.
SMOOTH AND PRECISEA large-volume Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and centrifugal clutch deliver smooth acceleration and precise throttle control to help you maintain positive traction in challenging technical sections. Seamless engine braking provides consistent deceleration on downhills.
THE POWER TO CHOOSEFull Power or Low Power modes allow drivers to set power delivery to suit preference and conditions. The milder throttle response offered by Low Power mode contributes to superb low-speed control when tackling challenging terrain.
CHOOSE YOUR MODESwitch between 2WD/4WD and front differential lock on the fly with electrically selectable drive modes.
DYNAMIC STABILITY AND COMFORTThe long 126-in wheelbase, combined with the long suspension travel, contributes to dynamic stability and ride comfort. The wide tread stance helps the vehicle maintain its line when cornering.
SMOOTH AND STABLEMassive ground clearance allows the class-leading suspension travel to fully articulate for a smooth, confident ride. The angled shape of the underbody complements the ample clearance to enhance the chassis capability to navigate technical terrain.
POWER YOUR FUNBring your accessories on the adventure with you. With a built-in high output 1,120W (80A) AC generator featuring 2 output connections, you can power all your additional fun on the go.
CLASS-LEADING COMFORTKawasaki engineers placed great emphasis on carefully designing a roomy rear passenger space that is large enough to comfortably accommodate 4 full-sized adults. Thanks to its rugged performance, advanced technology, and superb class-leading comfort, the Teryx® KRX4™ 1000 side x side is ready to take you and your passengers on an adventure for the memory books.
ROOM FOR EVERYONEThe roomy cabin offers plenty of space for the head, shoulders, and legs to help make the journey more comfortable for all 4 passengers. Enjoy lever-adjustable driver and front passenger seats, adjustable tilt steering, and a front passenger T-bar handle for added comfort and support. With any adjustments, there’s always ample leg room for all 4 riders.
STAY SUPPORTEDWith 4 high-backed bucket seats and 3-point seatbelts, everyone will feel supported and comfortable when riding.
OPENING UP ADVENTUREThe vehicle’s 4 doors feature a wide opening and armrests. Internal and external door handles provide comfort and convenience when entering, riding, and exiting. The low, flat floor facilitates entering and exiting.
STAY IN CONTROLSpeed-sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS) provides optimized steering assistance and acts as a steering damper by absorbing steering kickback for enhanced handling and reduced driver fatigue.
ALL-DAY ADVENTURINGComfortable all-day excursions come thanks to 5 easy-access cup holders, a 12V DC power outlet, a large glove box, under-seat storage, and dashboard storage compartments. Keep your items secure and devices charged during your adventure.
DESIGNED TOUGHThoughtful design is evident by the burly frame and ROPS, massive suspension components, and extensive undercarriage protection.
DURABLE FRAMEThe frame was designed using Kawasaki’s advanced dynamic rigidity analysis incorporating the Rollover Protection Structure (ROPS) as a stressed member. The energy-absorbing ROPS design helps dissipate stress, contributing to optimal rigidity balance and durability.
TAKE ON TOUGH TERRAINLarge-diameter A-arms and trailing arms utilize an arc shape for greater clearance, also allowing the long-travel suspension to soak up more terrain. Roomy interior space complemented by highly composed chassis and ground-hugging suspension that soaks up bumps mean driver and passengers can strap into the high-backed bucket seats and simply enjoy the ride.
PROTECTED FROM DEBRISThe angled shape of the underbody, similar to the hull of a boat, complements the already more than 14 in of ground clearance. The class-leading undercarriage is covered with a combination of plastic and steel skid plates with more than 80% of the protection composed of steel pieces. Additional steel wheel wells offer further protection to the vehicle from rocks and other flying debris.
STOPPING POWERStay in control with 4 large-diameter hydraulic disc brakes that deliver superb braking force. As the driver pushes the brake pedal, the front brakes engage first, followed by the rear brakes. This offers a very natural, linear brake feel that facilitates precision brake force control.
KEEP THE ADVENTURE GOINGClass-leading 15-in aluminum wheels with large 31-in MAXXIS® Carnivore tires help reduce rolling resistance in technical terrain and feature an off-road tread pattern for extra grip. Their 8-ply construction offers enhanced puncture resistance.
ALL WITHIN REACHThe roomy, rear carrier space is large enough to accommodate up to a 32-in spare tire and has a load capacity of 350 lbs. The carrier’s recessed bottom helps prevent a cooler box or other cargo items from moving around. Cargo can be secured using the 4 integrated tie-down hooks. The built-in sight glass makes checking the engine oil level quick and easy. You’ll have easy access to the oil fill, oil filter and air cleaner, and the ability to service the CVT belt as well.
BRED FOR THE TRAILThe Kawasaki TERYX® KRX4™ 1000 TR side x side is purpose-built for access to more trails than ever before. Blending next-level confidence, capability, and control into a trail-ready package, the TERYX KRX4 1000 TR radically changes trail riding.
NARROW THE STANCE. WIDEN THE ADVENTURE.TERYX® KRX4™ 1000 TR features a reduced 64-in stance for excellent handling in tight wooded environments. Even with the narrower width, the wheels remain positioned at the corners of the vehicle, maintaining a stable, planted stance and boosting maneuverability through wooded trails. Shorter A-arms at the front and shorter control arms at the rear reduce the vehicle width just enough to gain access to width-restricted trails.
TUNED FOR COMFORTThe TERYX® KRX4™ 1000 TR suspension features softer damping characteristics tuned for low- to mid-range speeds, ideal for soaking up rocks, roots, and loose gravel often found in wooded terrain. The result is a comfortable, controlled ride quality with optimum stability through technical sections. As speeds increase on wider trails, the TERYX KRX 1000 TR has excellent overall chassis stability.
SCULPTED FOR DEEP TRAILSTERYX® KRX4™ 1000 TR bodywork was revised to preserve the tough styling of the TERYX® KRX4™ series while enabling access to miles of trails. Updated front bodywork accommodates the revised suspension geometry and maintains a sharp appearance. Slim rear fender flares stay within the outer edge of the tires for improved trail access without sacrificing the vehicle’s aggressive stance.
