Clyde H. Townsend started his first venture into the motorcycle business in Dothan, Alabama in 1950 bringing with him a true enthusiasm for the sport. In 1975, Don Owens joined the business keeping it in the family.
Honda® was taken on in 1962, which was the beginning of Honda of Dothan. It was decided in 1996 to change our name from Honda of Dothan to Dothan Powersports. The store has since added CFMoto®, Kawasaki®, Polaris®, SSR, Suzuki, and Yamaha
